Lily Yuh Bradfield is a recent honors graduate from Vassar College, Korean-Swedish-American Brooklyn native turned LA transplant. She loves writing, knitting, and exploiting her AMC A-List Pass.
Most recently (and excitingly) she wrote and directed a psychological thriller short film, WE LIKED YOUR VIBE, which will be available for consumption soon. It has premiered at Lady Filmmakers Festival at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills, where it won BEST LGBTQ FILM. Official selection at Atlanta HorrorFest, winner of BEST LGBTQ Film at Cannes World Film Festival and Venice Shorts.
Though her main focus is screen- and teleplay writing, her freelance journalistic work can be found in both the print and online publications of Cultured Magazine, where she was able to explore her love of film by interviewing major feature directors, and her short fiction in literary journals like Deep Overstock and The Vassar Review. Her one-act play, Blackboard, was awarded the prestigious Marilyn Swartz Seven ’69 award.
She wrote, directed, starred in, produced, and edited her senior thesis short film, Liberal Arts Land, a comedic exploration of the POC experience on liberal arts college campuses.
Currently, she is the Writers PA for VIRGIN RIVER (Netflix) and she has held positions at Feature Ink (ZERO DAY, A HOUSE OF DYNAMITE, DEVIL IN DISGUISE: JOHN WAYNE GACY), Texas Crew Productions, Peacock, and Lion Television, as well as internships at Vertigo Entertainment (It, Rings, Barbarian) and Telescope Film. She never feels more at home than when she is creating.
